SEPTEMBER 1 UPDATES

• We have finalizing our September 30th Reunion Dinner Extravaganza - If you have not purchased your tickets please do so by September 25th.  Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.  The reunion will include the following. 

  • FOOD - Tempting Appetizers, a Red Hot Buffet Dinner and Devilish Desserts plus coffee and tea, will satisfy your culinary desires.

  • FUEL - For those that want alcoholic drinks a full cash bar will be available limited only by the amount of money in your wallet.  

  • FUN - How much of the 70’s do you remember?  You will find out as we have arranged with Hambones Trivia to host a trivia contest specifically designed for our class.  Whether you are a classmate or a guest It will be an opportunity to see who can best remember the 70’s.  www.hambonestrivia.com

  • FOTOS - Don’t worry about spending all evening taking pictures.  We have arranged for a photographer to take photos throughout the evening so you can spend your time visiting with classmates and their guests.  These photos will not be photoshopped in any way. 

  • FEATURES - Hear from our classmates as we honor teachers, class members and reflect upon our time at Pike.

  • FRIENDSHIP - There will be plenty of time to catch up with classmates by socializing and sharing.

  • FORMAL ATTIRE is not required - There is no dress code so wear whatever you will be most comfortable in.

JULY 18 UPDATES

• Goals Exceeded - We had a goal of 30 registrations for the reunion dinner by July 15.   We blew past that goal and have almost 50 classmates and their guests registered.  Our goal is to have at least another 30 registrations.   We encourage all to attend.

• Generous Classmates - With over 20% of our class making an additional donations to support the reunion, we will no longer need to implement the $10 July 15 price increase for the tickets.   So our tickets for all class members will be at the $60 Early Bird ticket rate.   Also, if the cost of the ticket is preventing you to attend we have had a number of classmates willing to sponsor a classmate to attend.   Please email PikeHS1973@gmail.com if you are interested.  You will be completely anonymous

APRIL 9 UPDATES

• Golf- A huge thanks to Mark Monteith for his willingness to help with the golf event.   Mark has had considerable experience in organizing the annual alumni golf event.    Please refer to the Reunion Events for registration and additional information.

• Pike High School Tour - A huge thanks also to Larry Metzler for his willingness to conduct the  high school tour.   Larry has had a front row seat to the many changes at Pike after serving on the school board for 26.5 years.    Please refer to the Reunion Events for registration and additional information.

• In Memorium - Two classmates were added since the March Update - Terri Jacoby and Bob Schlegel.   

• Reminder - If you will be needing a hotel room we encourage you to make those reservations as soon as possible.   With weddings and other events many of these hotels tend to book up.   Also, if you will be attending the Saturday evening event we encourage you to purchase your tickets by July 15 for the early bird pricing.

MARCH 8 UPDATES

• Pickleball- A huge thanks to Heidi and Steve Behrman for their work to secure 4 pickleball courts for the pickleball event.   In addition to experienced players we are excited to welcome beginners and will conduct a beginners clinic and will have you playing that day.   We ask for a $10 donation, to be paid at the event, to help cover the cost of the courts.  If you currently play pickleball or have ever wondered about pickleball this is the event to attend.    Please refer to the Reunion Events for registration and additional information.

• In Memorium - The In Memorium page has been one of the most viewed pages on the reunion website.   We have added to the page memories/tributes that were left on their online obituaries by fellow classmates plus have included a eulogy that was given to one of our classmates by another classmate.
